All was fine until Montreal...

Montreal has 13L flush toilets from the 1990s everywhere I've been so far (even at the McGill Faculty Club, which is a building that oozes wealth)! It's incredibly disheartening.


I've been staying at a friend's house since Thursday, for two very interesting conferences, one called Canadian Water: Towards a New Strategy on policy (which had all the foremost water experts in Canada in one room, pretty cool!) and one called Uncharted Waters, organized by students about ways to take action on water issues.

My personal computer is pretty bogged down with video files, so much so that uploading the most recent video of me doing laundry by hand (last week) took several attempts, and a long time to upload. Here it is!

Canada's 1st Bottled Water Free Day

Today marks Canada's first Bottled Water Free Day

Why would you pay for a plastic bottle of (now contaminated) water, when you can turn on the tap and it's there, for fraction of the price, and is tested more often? AND it's local water, not water trucked in from somewhere else in the country, or, goodness forbid, the globe!

Hygiene & Hair washing (and daily water use tally)

Day 10 already!

Just for those who may be curious, I am still maintaining a healthy level of personal hygiene. I'm not covering it up with perfume or anything. haha



I also haven't been running marathons, though. I've thought about jogging since it's getting nice out. I should do that and bathe afterwards and see if the same amount of water still does a good enough job...
