The measure of a civilized society is not how many and how fast cars can travel in our bisected communities, but how well we can live within our environment without destroying all of it. This includes everything from worms to turtles.
What are we going to end up with if we do not heed our better judgement, a lifeless ecosystem and graveyards of rusty vehicles and a numb citizenry?
This is not the Ottawa or the Canada I want.
