This is ridiculous to be investing in more oil drilling anywhere, anyway, since we have knowledge by result of taxpayers money Dom the last research conducted on minimizing, and on alternative resources. Why are we still focusing on oil anyway, only to waste even more taxpayer money, particulary with the evidence being so clear about the dangers of drilling being so fresh even on our minds!? I wonder how much different decisions on oil drilling would look, had the error been a direct danger to the backyards of senate and representatives? I believe we need the safe alternatives that taxpayers have spent so much money on for research as these oil drillings have proven to be dangerous. And I don't like that bp has been given the full responsibility on it. I believe it is clearly a government issue, or else... It would have stayed in private sector!?
