About the documentary

Off the breath-taking coast of Prince Edward Island in North Lake - the so-called “tuna capital of the world”- the prized giant Bluefin tuna disappeared after years of overfishing, only to recently return in staggering numbers. But something isn’t right. Once wary of humans, they are now seemingly unafraid. Just what has happened to this majestic creature and its habitat? John Hopkins’ eye-opening documentary unravels this baffling mystery, revealing of how our exploitation of resources can alter environments and ecosystems in unexpected ways.
