Conference: Collective Impact! The Environment & Our Diverse Society
Collective Impact! The Environment & Our Diverse Society was a great success! Nearly 100 changemakers gathered at the Evergreen Brick Works on Friday, June 3 to learn from each other and discuss ways to help the environmental movement change to better reflect various ethno-cultural and Aboriginal communities.
Keynote Presentations were given by Michael Adams (Environics) about "Canada’s Immigrants and the Environment". As well, Robin Cardozo, of the Ontario Trillium Foundation and Melissa Shin, of Corporate Knights on why the environment movement needs to connect with diverse communities.
