Diversity is an integral part of the Canadian landscape. Visible minorities and under-represented immigrant communities make up an increasing percentage of the GTA’s population, yet they are under-represented at the senior-most leadership positions.

Most of the environmental NGOs (ENGOs) today have limited diversity and don’t reflect or authentically engage the communities they serve. Organizations realize that if they want to make a difference and to benefit from bridging the gap between ENGOS and cultural groups, they need to become more diverse and inclusive. Join Catherine Winter, Manager DiverseCity onBoard, for this workshop to learn more about board governance and the steps and tools to diversifying you board.
