James studies environmental studies, international development, and Spanish at Dalhousie in Halifax. He grew up on the east coast, but moved to Vancouver last summer to set up and runs camps that teach youth about sustainability and environmental leadership. He recently spent time in Nicaragua working with at-risk youth about gender equality, non-violence, and sustainability through art. A self-described activist and writer, he is passionate about waking up the social conscience in those around him. Being back in Halifax, James is stoked to be working on water quality monitoring and to help you (yes, you!) promote water conservation in your community.
