TAKE ACTION!
The question that you, Sierra Club of Canada members, ask the most is, What can we do to make a difference? Here are three campaigns that need your name and your voice to increase their strength. Take the time for any or all actions and know that you are helping to make the change that is needed to protect our environment.
1. Help keep Mackenzie Wild! Visit the site to sign on to the declaration and learn more about the threats of the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline project.
2. Caribou populations across the country are under threat. Visit Caribou Nation to learn more about what you can do to protect herds from coast to coast to coast and beyond our borders.
3. One particular population of caribou, the Porcupine caribou herd, despite having an international agreement between Canada and the U.S. to protect the population, is in threatened by a fall budget vote in the U.S. Congress. Help protect the Porcupine caribou and Gwichin way of life that depends on the caribou.
