- Environment Debate 2006
On January 6, 2006 the Green Budget Coalition held its second National All-Party Environmental Debate at the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. The event was broadcast live on CPAC, hosted by Ken Rockburn. Read the Ottawa Citizens article.
Sierra Club of Canada is a member of the Green Budget Coalition, and Daniel Green of the Québec Chapter was a panelist in the debate which posed questions to the Hon. Stéphane Dion, Environment Minister, Liberal Party; Robert Mills, Conservative Party Environment Critic; Bernard Bigras, Bloc Québécois Environment Critic; David Chernushenko, Green Party Deputy Leader and Gord Perks, New Democratic Party.
