Diverse Faith Groups to Pray for Mi’kmaw Fishery

A ray of sunshine - toxic pesticide chlorpyrifos banned
Goodness knows we could all do with some good news these days!
Health Canada has announced they are banning one of the most widely-used pesticides in Canada, chlorpyrifos. Health Canada states in its re-evaluation that the companies producing pesticides containing chlorpyrifos "failed to satisfy the data requirements" to allow its continued use.
