It has been a busy few weeks here in Ottawa and across the country. People everywhere are talking about devastating changes to environmental law and regulation (Canadian Environmental Assessment Act and Fisheries Act) undemocratically crammed into the federal budget.

Yesterday the federal government took away our right to participate in environmental assessments.  Today, Canada is a less democratic country. Big oil has more say about the future of Canada than you and I. I did a pile of media interviews yesterday but that's not enough. We have to wake up Canada's Parliament and alert them to what is happening.

Unfortunately, we’re going to have to make a very big noise.

Your Member of Parliament (MP) is home in your riding this week. The Easter break following the budget is an important opportunity for them to gauge the mood of the country.

We need your help again.

As you may know, Ontario has become a world-leader when it comes to developing green, renewable energy. But Tim Hudak, leader of the Conservative Party of Ontario, wants to reverse this accomplishment and recently introduced a bill to kill green energy in the province.

His surrogates and front-groups have already been mobilized and recently launched a letter writing campaign targeting Ontario Members of the Provincial Parliament (MPP).

The bill to kill green energy will be voted on March 22nd. So there’s not much time to act!
