Sovereignty Saturdays Podcasts: a Sub-series of our The Environment in Canada Podcast

Wealthy polluters have identified that their main obstacle to continuing to profit from pollution is… democracy. This is as true in 2026 as it was in 2025. Back in early January 2025 we released two podcast episodes, in Part 1 and Part 2, on Resisting the U.S. Annexation of Canada, because we could see the storm on the horizon.

It’s now 2026…. If you’re watching what’s happening in the United States right now and you’re worried where it will end that’s very understandable. Things are going to get worse before they get better, but beyond the shock there’s work to be done right now to make sure things do – one day – get better.
