Tell Carney on Bill C-15: Protect our rights and those of First Nations and future generations
Under the guise of modifications to the Red Tape Reduction Act the Canadian Government is proposing to allow cabinet ministers to exempt any person or organization from any existing federal legislation, except for the Criminal Code, for any project considered to “encourage innovation, competitiveness or economic growth”. With Canadian democracy under threat from wealthy corporate interests this removal of accountability to the Canadian public would be highly dangerous and does not match with previous Government promises.
Take action and send a message via the form to Prime Minister Mark Carney and François-Philippe Champagne, the Minister of Finance and National Revenue. Tell them to remove the modifications to the existing Red Tape Reduction Act contained in Bill C-15.
