We’re looking for community members who are interested in learning practical green skills, helping improve local storm water management, and connecting with others through hands-on environmental action. Learn how to:
1. Stop Excessive Water Runoff near a Home
2. Climate Adaptation Connects to Plants, and Gardening
3. Use Green Skills for Community Development & Urban Planning

2-Day Introductory Solar Training in Channel-Port aux Basques, Oct. 3rd-4th 2026
Interested in learning about solar energy? Mixed Coast Collective, Sierra Club Canada, and Iron & Earth are hosting a free community information session and intro solar training in Channel Port aux Basques. This session is designed for beginners and will cover the basics of how solar energy works, different ways it can be used in Port aux Basques, and what to consider if you’re interested in solar for your home, business, or community.
